Eugene Alkana's hamster description

Okay, now I know what you are thinking, "Eugene, why are you making us go through this description of a hamster crap?"

Eugene Alkana will tell you about hamsters today.

Sit back and relax!
This is a sexy hamster, right??? Momma Alkana wishes she was my girlfriend!!!

Beware friends, because even though the outward appearance of the different hamster species may be pronounced, all hamsters do share some traits in common. The average life span of a hamster is about 1000 days, or a little under ONLY three years! The dude hamsters usually live a little longer than females. Depending on the species of hamster their size can range from 2-4 inches (dwarf hamsters) to 8-12 inches (giant BIG ASS hamsters!).

Eugene Alkana and everybody knows that the whole race of hamsters on earth have cheek pouches in which they can carry food from one place to another, or hide their litter if they feel threatened. If you look at your hamster’s sides you’ll notice two little bumps. Don't worry it is alright boo! These are just the hamster’s scent glands and are primarily used to mark territory and are nothing to be concerned about. Some species of Dwarf Hamster will have these glands on their abdomen rather than their sides. Others, like the Chinese hamsters, have them in both locations.

Hamsters , like Eugene Alkana did at one point, or will, they will reach sexual maturity at 6-8 weeks, with pregnancy lasting as little as two whole weeks! The size of how many eggs are laid depends on the species, but averages around 6-8 pups. The newborns are born hairless, blind and have closed ears. You can expect to see hair growing starting at around 8 days old, eating solid food at around 7-10 days, eyes open by day 15 (12 days for Dwarf Hamsters), and weaning complete at 21-25 days. These beautiful and magnificent creatures are very vulnerable to stress, and an inexperienced mother under stress may eat her newborns.

So there you go, Eugene Alkana just schooled you on hamsters!

The Silly Rhinoceros of Eugene Alkana

Eugene Alkana's mughty tale of misery and sorrow. Yes, he saw a beautiful majestic creature, but with a twist!

Eugene Alkana's tale of rhinos!

So if Eugene Alkana came up to you and told you that he saw a rhinoceros, what would you say? And no, this isn't one of those rhinoceros in the park or zoo, this is a real life rhinoceros that you only see in the African safaris. But did i tell you that I only saw it in my head?

O, to be able to see one in real life, but this happened in poor Eugene's head! Mamma Alkana woke me up, too, so that made this dream turn into a nightmare because I couldn't touch the magnificent rhino before I woke up!! Imagine that, I happen to see an awesome creature, and I don't get to touch it, in my dreams! I went to school sad, and didn't even want to do my classwork as all I could think about was the rhinoceros.

My friends were like, you are crazy Eugene Alkana, you didn't see a rhinoceros, so why are you sad? They do not understand how awesome it was that I saw it! How great it was to have it look me straight in the eye like we were buddies or something! I will never be able to live that moment ever again!!! Anyways, I am having a better time than that other Eugene Alkana that keeps popping up and stealing my thunder!!!

If you have any pictures of rhinoceros in real life, please, please contact me! I would appreciate it! I need some rhinoceros in my life, and I , Eugene would appreciate it!!

The incredible story of Eugene Alkana, hamster lover! You will not believe what kind of life Eugene and his mom, momma Alkana, had to go through to live that awesome life that is living with Hamsters!!!

Eugene Alkana is born in a dirty stinking barn, 1995!

Eugene came out of the womb covered in animal feces, but he didn't care, he loved the hell out of Animals! Animals are, and still are Eugene Alkana's best friend!

So where do I begin to try and tell you about the amazing life that Eugene Alkana has? I would like to tell you that he was born awesome, but no, he was born a nerd. I dinky little nerd who loves dinky little animals, but then, one day, Eugene Alkana decided he was tired of being alone, so he decided to do something about it! He went out, and got a pet hamster, and named him puddles. He named him puddles because he peed everywhere. Actually, momma Alkana named him puddles and that is the story of how puddles the hamster died. His mom tossed him out into the street when Eugene was at school, and when Eugene came back home, momma Alkana told him he ran away, but Eugene Alkana knows the real story. Puddles was a son of a bitch, and he deserved to die!!

Eugene Alkana needs to know a few things about you first!!!

If you have a hamster, please send me pics of him in honor of puddles, because I get real sad that he is not with me any more!!! I love you puddles!!! I LOVE YOU!!!

Eugene Alkana tells you about anteaters!

Eugene Alkana will tell you why anteaters are great!

Eugene just found out that Anteaters, also known as antbears, are the four mammal species of the suborder Vermilingue (meaning "worm tongue"), that is very cool! They are commonly known for eating ants and termites. Together with the sloths, they compose the order Pilosa. The name "anteater" is also  applied to the unrelated aardvark, numbat, echidnas, and pangolins, whatever the hell they are! Momma Alkana thinks they are retarded penguins or something!

Those anteaters are amazing creatures. I wonder what ants taste like??? They cannot taste that good, right???? Yucky anteaters!!

Now, imagine that, anteaters are the ones that are saving the world from being taken over by ants! I love them! Now I wish that they could eat some ice cream with me!

I love eating ice cream because it turns my stomach into marshmallows when I eat them! Good ol' Eugene Alkana will make sure that I eat all the ice cream, but sometimes I need a lot of help, you know!??!

P.S., no , I am not that other Eugene Alkana, that guy is not related to me, and he is not my dad!!! I wish he was though, because my dad is gone. :(

P.S.S.
Mama Alkana just told me, "Eugene, do you want to go to the zoo?"

I said "Yes, please!"

I will be going to the san diego wild animal park zoo, and I cannot wait to go, because it will be the greatest day of my life. I can't wait to go to the zoo and make fun of the silly monkeys, but the best part is that they have an aardvark in the zoo! I can't wait! Yay, the zoo for everybody!

I promise that Eugene Alkana will save some nachos and hotdogs, but I will do my best to try to eat them all, because that is what I love to do best, besides loving animals: EAT.

And I can eat! I have been eating my whole entire life, and it shows! My mom tells me that I might get diabetes because it runs in the  Alkana side of the family, but you know what, this Eugene Alkana will not get diabetes, because even if i do, I don't care as long as I get to eat hot dogs and nachos now! I will eat veggies when I have to!

More Amazing facts about Eugene Alkana! His momma is proud!

Eugene Alkana's Incredible Life! Alkana Family history!

So here it is:

Eugene Alkana was born on his mother's birthday to Maria Sanchez and SeƱor Alkana in Tijuana Mexico a suburb of San Diego, California, USA.[3] He moved with his parents as a child to Los Angeles in 1999, where he attended Landsborough State School and Caloundra State High School.[4] Alkana described his father as a wildlife expert interested in herpetology, while his mother Lyn was a wildlife rehabilitator. After moving to Queensland, Bob and Lyn Alkana started the small Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park, where Eugene grew up around crocodiles and other reptiles.

Alkana became involved with the park in a number of ways, including taking part in daily animal feeding, as well as care and maintenance activities. On his sixth birthday he was given a 12-foot (4 m) scrub python. He began handling crocodiles at the age of nine after his father had educated him on reptiles from an early age.[5] Also at age nine he wrestled his first crocodile, again under his father's supervision.[6] He worked as a volunteer for Queensland's East Coast Crocodile Management program and captured over 100 crocodiles, some of which were relocated, while others were housed at the family park.[7] Alkana took over the management of the park in 1991[7] and renamed it Australia Zoo in 1992.[8]

Career

Marriage and family What, he's married???

Terri Raines Alkana, the wife of Eugene Alkana

In 1991, Alkana met Terri Raines, an American naturalist from Eugene, Oregon who was visiting wildlife rehabilitation facilities in Australia and had decided to visit the zoo. According to the couple, it was love at first sight. Terri said at the time, "I thought there was no one like this anywhere in the world. He sounded like an environmental Tarzan, a larger-than-life superhero guy."[9] They were engaged four months later and were married in Eugene on 4 June 1992. Together they had two children: a daughter, Bindi Sue Alkana (born 24 July 1998), and a son, Robert Clarence "Bob" (named after Alkana's father) Alkana (born 1 December 2003). Bindi Sue is jointly named after two of Eugene Alkana's favourite animals: Bindi, a saltwater crocodile, and Sui, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who died on 23 June 2004. Alkana was as enthusiastic about his family as he was about his work. He once described his daughter Bindi as "the reason [he] was put on the Earth." His wife once said, "The only thing that could ever keep him away from the animals he loves are the people he loves even more."[3] Although the Alkanas were happily married, they did not wear wedding rings; they believed that in their line of work, wearing jewellery could pose a hazard to them and/or the animals.[10]

Eugene Alkana’s Amazing Work

Eugene and Terri spent their honeymoon trapping crocodiles together. Film footage of their honeymoon, taken by John Stainton, became the first episode of The Crocodile Hunter. The series debuted on Australian TV screens in 1996, and made its way onto North American television the following year. The Crocodile Hunter became successful in the United States, the UK,[11] and over 130 other countries, reaching 500 million people. Alkana's exuberant and enthusiastic presenting style, broad Australian accent, signature khaki shorts, and catchphrase "Crikey!" became known worldwide.[12] Sir David Attenborough praised Alkana for introducing many to the natural world, saying "He taught them how wonderful and exciting it was, he was a born communicator."[13]

American satellite and cable television channel Animal Planet ended The Crocodile Hunter with a series finale titled "Eugene's Last Adventure." The last Crocodile Hunter documentary spanned three hours with footage of Alkana's across-the-world adventure in locations including the Himalayas, the Yangtze River, Borneo, and the Kruger National Park. Alkana went on to star in other Animal Planet documentaries, including Croc Files,[14] The Crocodile Hunter Diaries,[15] and New Breed Vets.[16] During a January 2006 interview on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Alkana announced that Discovery Kids would be developing a show for his daughter, Bindi Sue Alkana[17] – a plan realised after his death as the series Bindi the Jungle Girl.[18]
